Lessons

Private lessons are given weekly. My current rates, paid monthly in advance, are:

• 30 minute lessons $30.00
• 45 minute lessons $45.00
• 60 minute lessons $55.00
• 90 minute lessons $80.00

My students range in age from six to adult. Each year my piano students perform in recitals that are always quite enjoyable. These brief concerts provide each student with the experience of performing and perfecting a piece of music.

I also teach group hammered dulcimer lessons. The cost and scheduling of these workshops varies.

My piano students learn to read music playing both classical and popular pieces. Lessons also include some study of chord theory. Hammered dulcimer students learn from sheet music and/or by ear, depending on their preference.
